These terms and conditions are important. You must read them carefully. They may have changed since you last read them.

Acceptance of Conditions

These terms and conditions form a legal contract between you and Onion Skin Ltd “OnionSkin” for your use of OnionSkin website and our physical sites. By registering on or visiting the OnionSkin website, you are acknowledging that you understand and accept these terms and conditions.
When you purchase services from us, you accept the general terms of use, and the specific conditions that apply to that purchase. You may wish to print this page for your reference. Please read these terms and conditions in conjunction with our privacy policy, pricing details and site and sign information. If you do not accept these terms and conditions you must refrain from using the services.

Terminology

In these terms and conditions, the following expressions have the meanings set out:

'client' means a registered client of OnionSkin;
'advertiser' means a paying advertiser of OnionSkin;
'services' means any one or more of the services offered by OnionSkin from time to time, including any other service that OnionSkin may offer;
'we', 'us', 'our' and ‘OnionSkin’ are a reference to Onion Skin Ltd;
'you' and 'your' are a reference to you;
'website' means any OnionSkin website through which the services are offered’;
‘site’ means any physical OnionSkin site the services are provided to;
‘sign’, 'skin' and 'graphics means substrate and or imaging.

Disclaimer

While every attempt is made to install your sign according to your booking, from time to time there may be delay or delays outside of our control.

OnionSkin accepts no liability for any direct, indirect, consequential or incidental loss whether due to OnionSkin or a third party, or that may arise or results in a delay or use, or misuse, of the advertising available from OnionSkin physical or websites.

Responsibility for the content of advertisements appearing on this website (including hyper links to advertisers' own websites) and our physical sites rests solely with the advertisers. The placement of such advertisements on the website does not constitute OnionSkin’s recommendation or endorsement of the advertised product or service. Each advertiser is solely responsible for any representation made in connection with its advertisement.

Indemnity

You agree to release, indemnify and keep indemnified us from and against all actions, claims, costs (including legal costs and expenses), losses, proceedings, damages, liabilities, or demands suffered or incurred by us to any person arising out of or in connection with your failure to comply with these terms and conditions, your failure to complete a booking, your use of OnionSkin sites, or arising out of any content you submit or make available through the services.

Becoming a Client

Becoming a client is free. You may only register as a client if you are resident in New Zealand and can form a legally binding contract that is enforceable against you. For example, you must be 18 years old. By registering as a client, you warrant that you can form a legally binding contract.

OnionSkin reserves the right to remove any such advertising that it deems unsuitable or in breach of the terms and conditions. You acknowledge that OnionSkin does not control the material that is advertised and is not responsible to you for any loss or damage you may suffer by reason of such material.

Advertiser Obligations

Information submitted in your registration form must be complete and accurate. By submitting your registration you are warranting that all such information is true, accurate, current and complete.

If you register at this website you will take reasonable precautions to ensure the confidentiality of your password and account. You will be responsible for all activities that occur under your account or password and will immediately notify OnionSkin of any unauthorised use of your account or password.

If OnionSkin believes that you have not complied with any of your obligations it may at any time suspend or terminate your access to this website, refuse services or cancel orders, at its discretion.

This website to OnionSkin contains links to the websites of other businesses affiliated with OnionSkin and businesses offering compatible goods and services. OnionSkin has not examined or evaluated any of these websites or any goods or services offered and accordingly is not responsible for your use of any such websites.

We will not sell or give any of your personal information to a third party without your permission. Updating your Contact Information

If any of your client information changes, you agree to notify us promptly, by signing into OnionSkin website and updating your account. You must maintain and update your client information held by OnionSkin to ensure it is kept current at all times. OnionSkin may phone or email you to verify these details.

Cancelling your Advertising

We do not give refunds for cancelled advertising. When you cancel, your advertising rights continue until the end of your current paid up period.
If you withdraw your sign prior to the end of your paid up period your space will be made available to one or more charities until the end of your paid up period. Should you have a preferred charity and that charities sign is immediately available we will make every effort to display that charity in your space until the end of your paid up period.

Changing your Advertising

You may change your sign at any time and as often as you like. Installation and removal fees will apply each time you make changes. Please read pricing details.

Prices

All prices are stated in New Zealand dollars (NZ$). For full information on prices please read pricing details.

Installation and Removal Fees

All advertising of your sign or skin will be subject to these fees on installation and on removal. The fees apply to every booking. Allowance may be made for multiple concurrent bookings. Should you decide to make any changes to your sign outside of the initial booking these fees will also apply.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to increase fees or to introduce new prices for our services at any time. Any such changes will be published in advance on OnionSkin website.

Methods of Payment

Payment for all purchases is from your own online banking or via manual deposit at a branch into our Westpac account only.

Payment Dates

Payment must be received a minimum of one week prior to advertising to confirm your booking. Late payments may result in your loss of advertising space and or your preferred sign location. Book and pay early to avoid disappointment.

Payment must be made in full when you order.

Problems with Payments

If we do not receive payment owing from you, we will contact you at your most recently updated email address.

If we are unable to contact you by email your booked and pending space will be made available for other advertisers. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to OnionSkin website and or the physical advertising sites.

Sign Delivery

We must receive your skin, sign or graphic by a minimum of 2 days prior to your booking date. Failure to have your sign delivered on time may incur additional installation costs.

You are responsible for delivery of your sign from your sign maker to the on-site courier drop box or the site specific delivery address. Signs not placed in the courier drop box or the site specific delivery address. will be deemed lost and we accept no responsibility for lost signs.

In the instance your space has been booked and payment made but your sign has not been delivered a charity sign may be installed in your space until your sign is available for installation. Installing your sign may then be subject to an additional installation cost as it will be installed outside the regular sign changeover cycle.

Your Obligations

You agree not to sell, assign or transfer your rights as an advertiser.

You agree to pay the fees published on OnionSkin website, and any other charges (including Internet connection charges) you incur in order to access OnionSkin services.
