Cameron road is the main road into Tauranga from the Waikato, Rotorua and Auckland. This site is located on road frontage of this high volume main arterial route. Located on the western side of Cameron road, just off the intersection of 23rd & 22nd Avenues, (also connects into Courtney road*). In March 2012, Tauranga City Traffic noted over a week an average of 19381 vehicle movements per day.

The intersection is controlled by traffic lights and at peak hour high volumes run through the intersection at significantly less than the prescribed 50km.
Diagonally opposite this site exists the local shopping area with a supermarket, fast food and boutique speciality shops and a hardware superstore. The site can be easily seen from the local supermarket (carpark) and from the shops opposite the supermarket on the western side of Cameron road. Two schools, churches and several bus stops and Tauranga Public Hospital nearby means there is also a large volume of foot traffic near the site.

*Courtney Rd is a main arterial rd connecting Cameron Rd and Fraser St, with Fraser St boasting its popular Fraser St shopping centre.
